SVAMC at Paris Arbitration Week 2026: Arbitrating the AI Infrastructure Boom

March 23 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center (SVAMC) is pleased to participate in Paris Arbitration Week 2026, one of the world’s leading gatherings of the international arbitration community. On March 23, 2026, SVAMC Director Stan Putter will join an international panel for the program, Arbitrating the AI Infrastructure Boom: Contracts, Risk Allocation, and Forum Strategy, hosted by Alerion Avocats in Paris.

As trillions of dollars flow into AI infrastructure, including hyperscale data centers, AI factories, semiconductor supply chains, and the energy projects needed to power them, the session will explore how this rapid expansion is reshaping contractual relationships and dispute resolution. Panelists will examine key agreement types such as compute capacity reservations, cloud services arrangements, colocation and data center development contracts, EPC and equipment agreements, and power purchase agreements. The discussion will also address common sources of disputes, including project delays, performance failures, regulatory changes, export controls, ESG considerations, and power availability risks, as well as strategic considerations around forum selection and arbitration.

SVAMC’s participation reflects its ongoing leadership at the intersection of technology and dispute resolution, and its commitment to advancing dialogue on how arbitration can effectively serve emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence.
