Jonathan W. Fitch is an arbitrator who serves on the Panel of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution and on the AAA’s Large Complex Cases Panel. He is also on the list of arbitrators of the ICC and the GAR. Jonathan is the managing partner of Fitch Law Partners LLP, a 23-lawyer litigation boutique in Boston that is listed as a Best Law Firm in America. He has extensive experience as an emergency arbitrator, sole arbitrator, panelist and panel chair in international and domestic arbitrations involving among other things: technology supply and service agreements; technology license agreements; FRAND; patent exhaustion; proprietary information; invention assignment; software, firmware and hardware agreements; FIFRA; employment agreements; non-solicit and non-competition agreements; the liquidation of hedge funds; fiduciary duties; and the valuation of shareholder interests and terms of shareholder buyouts.
Jonathan has been recognized as a “Lawyer of the Year” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Newspaper and twice named as a “Top 100 Massachusetts Super Lawyer.” He is regularly listed as a Best Lawyer in America in the areas of arbitration and commercial litigation. He is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the American Bar Foundation.
Jonathan is a graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D., 1982), Yale School of Management (M.P.P.M., 1978) and Williams College (B.A., 1974). He frequently lectures on arbitration and management topics at the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and Boston area law schools.
