Maria Chedid is a partner at Arnold & Porter, where she leads the U.S. West Coast international arbitration practice. In addition to having served as counsel in commercial and investment arbitrations for over twenty-five years, Maria sits as an arbitrator and advises on international law disputes in U.S. courts. Maria has twice been a recipient of California’s Top Women Lawyers of the year award, in recognition of her exemplary advocacy on behalf of clients as well as her trailblazing work in international arbitration in her jurisdiction.
Maria also has been consistently recognized for her arbitration expertise by Chambers Global, Chambers USA, The Legal 500 U.S., Super Lawyers, World’s Leading Expert Guides, and the SVAMC’s “Tech List” of Leading Arbitrators, among others.
