David Earnest is an international arbitration practitioner based in Washington DC. He is admitted in the United States as an attorney (New York and Washington DC) and in England and Wales as a Solicitor-Advocate. David has broad experience in international commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration, where he has acted for and advised private clients and governments in disputes before a variety of arbitration institutions, including the ICC, LCIA, AAA/ICDR, and ICSID, as well as ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules and the English Arbitration Act.
Before moving to Washington DC, David was with leading international law firms in London and Brussels, and spent time on secondment to the London Court of International Arbitration as legal counsel. David frequently publishes and speaks on topics relating to international arbitration.
