ADR for Antitrust, to Streamline a Complex Dispute

This webinar, presented by SVAMC, will explore recent developments at the intersection of competition law and ADR, which illustrate the increasing role for arbitration in even complex antitrust matters. Practitioners seldom see arbitration as an alternative to antitrust litigation, which can take years and cost millions of dollars given the high stakes. Even the Department of Justice, however, has turned a merger enforcement case over to an arbitrator credentialed in the field, to good result; patent licensing (FRAND) cases are uniquely suited to ADR; and arbitral institutions are creating specialized technology panels for just this kind of case.
