International Intellectual Property and Arbitration: Innovation for a Better Future

April 25, 2022 @ 7:30 am - 10:30 am

SVAMC is thrilled participate in the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission’s symposium entitled:  International Intellectual Property and Arbitration: Innovating for a Better Future. Among other esteemed speakers, SVAMC CEO Sarah Reynolds (Goldman Ismail LLP, Managing Partner) will be speaking on the arbitrability of IP disputes in the United States.

Globally, transnational corporations and high-tech corporations are stepping up to meet the innovation and challenges of intellectual property. Transnational intellectual property commercial disputes are intertwined with bursts of energy, ingenuity, curiosity, creativity and the path to a better future. Commercial arbitration, one of the commercial dispute resolution mechanisms, provides an effective way for transnational intellectual property commercial disputes. The New York Convention provides a worldwide commercial arbitration settlement mechanism, but the particularity of the intellectual property system, especially the public law, determines that each contracting state has a different intellectual property arbitration system.

SVAMC looks forward to continued collaboration with the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission.
