On April 21, 2026, SVAMC, in partnership with Jus Mundi, will host the second installment of its AI in Arbitration webinar series, examining the evolving rules and governance frameworks shaping the use of artificial intelligence in arbitral practice.
As AI becomes more embedded in arbitration, questions around professional responsibility, transparency, and oversight are coming to the forefront. This session will explore what “responsible AI” means in practice and how emerging standards are beginning to guide its use.
The discussion will feature Abdi Aidid, Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and Canada Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Access to Justice, and Annie Lesperance, Head of Americas at Jus Mundi and SVAMC AI Task Force member.
