XVI Dublin Forum on International Commercial Dispute Resolution

The Dublin Forum on International Commercial Dispute Resolution is a high-level discussion. When convened in-person, the Forum takes a round table in format with approximately 30 attendees, each specially invited because of their active interest and engagement in international arbitration and mediation. The format and the attendee profiles allow and encourage a high level of participation, with each topic introduced by a panel of three or four speakers and then opened for round table discussion. Chatham House Rule applies. SVAMC speakers include Gary Benton, Les Schiefelbein and Dana Welch.
When in virtual webinar format, as in 2020, 2021, and 2023, the Forum is a global sequence of panels of practitioners at locations across the world, in a rolling series of discussions on local, regional and international topical issues impacting the practice of international arbitration and dispute resolution. The link to the webinar is free of charge and publicly available and Chatham House Rule does not apply.
To date the Forum has attracted colleagues from jurisdictions across the world including Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Lebanon, Greece, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Czechia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, England & Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Canada, and USA (New York, Washington DC, San Antonio, Minneapolis, Los Angeles) and representatives of international dispute resolution institutions including the ICC, CIArb, WIPO, ICDR, SAC (Stockholm), AIAC (KL), JAMS, Nominet UK.

In 2023 the Forum will reconvene in virtual format on ZOOM, commencing at 12:00 noon UTC in Fiji and New Zealand, and progressing Westward through Asia, MENA, Africa, Europe and the Americas.
Attendance is free of charge. The Forum will be a public webinar, and a link to the zoom meeting will be made available in advance. The global panels in 2023 will discuss developments in their respective regions and provide their unique perspective on global trends.
